GPS Purchasing @dvantage PC
Purchasing @dvantage PC is designed for suppliers who accept purchasing cards
and authorize transactions through their PCs. It enables suppliers to provide
line item detail (level III) - such as purchase order numbers, part numbers,
item descriptions, unit prices, item quantities, or American Express ® charge
descriptions - to their corporate customers. The line- item detail is sent
through the MasterCard ® and Visa ® issuing banks and then on to the corporate
customers. Charge descriptors are entered as order comments and sent to American
Express during the settlement process. The supplier is reimbursed in a timely
manner (usually two-three days), qualifies for lowest possible interchange
rates, and provides value-added information to customers.
